Happy 80th Liberation Day Guam

Today, we come together as one people to celebrate our beloved island’s 80th Liberation Day, a day of immense significance and heartfelt remembrance for all of us on Guam. It is a time to reflect on our past, honor our heroes, and celebrate our freedom.

As we gather to celebrate this historic day, we remember the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedom. We honor the brave men and women, both Chamorro and American, who gave their lives so that we could live in peace. Their legacy is our freedom, and we owe them our deepest gratitude.

Liberation Day is not just a commemoration of our past. It is a time to rejoice in the progress we have made as a community and to look toward a brighter future for our island. Our culture, traditions, and values continue to thrive, and our community grows stronger each day.

Let us use this day to come together as one people, united by our shared history and common goals. As we participate in the ceremonies, parade, festivities, and reflections, let us remember that our strength lies in our unity. Together, we can overcome any challenge and continue to build a prosperous and harmonious future for Guam.

Happy Liberation Day to all! May we continue to honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to a future filled with hope, peace, and freedom.

With deep appreciation for all of you and gratitude for the amazing work we have done as a team, my family and I wish you a wonderful Liberation Day. Biba Guam! Biba GCC!
