GCC to Host Multipurpose Auditorium Public Hearing for Proposed Fees

A NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Guam Community College will hold public hearings regarding the proposed fees for the new Multipurpose Auditorium (Building 300) as follows:
 
  • Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 3 PM, at the Guam Community College in Room 3108, Building 3000.
  • Monday, March 18, 2024 at 3 PM, at the Guam Community College, Hall 1 of Building 300 (Multipurpose Auditorium).   
 
The public hearing, regarding proposed fees for the new Multipurpose Auditorium, initially scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2024, is canceled.

The newly opened MPA spans 12,500 square feet and is available for use on a reservation basis. The proposed fees are needed to cover operational and maintenance costs for the new state-of-the-art MPA.

The proposed fees are listed below:
Description Multipurpose Auditorium (MPA) – Building 300
Duration: 4 hours  
Fee for Halls 1 – 4 $750.00*
Fee for Hall 1 $250.00**
Fees for Halls 2, 3, 4 $200.00 each***
Duration: 8 hours  
Fee for Halls 1-4 $1,500.00*
Fee for Hall 1 $500.00**
Fee for Halls 2, 3, 4 $400.00***
Daily rates  
Cleaning Fee (per day) $150.00 (non-refundable)
PA system (per day) $100.00 (new system)
TV system (replacing Multi-Media Projector) (per day) $150.00 per unit
Chairs (additional) (per day) $1.00 each
Tables (additional) (per day) $1.00 each
Tables (IBM style) $1.50 each


*Includes up to 200 chairs and 20 standard white rectangle OR round tables
**Includes up to 100 chairs and 15 standard white rectangle OR round tables
*** Includes up to 75 chairs and 10 standard white rectangle OR round tables
