Carl D. Perkins Career & Technical Education Grant


As the State Agency for career and technical education (CTE) on Guam, GCC remains steadfast on providing rigorous CTE programs to further strengthen and develop Guam’s workforce. The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 (Perkins IV) supports the development of the academic and career and technical skills of secondary and postsecondary students critical for employment in high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand occupations in current and emerging professions.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Title II Adult Education & Literacy 


Guam Community College is the State Agency responsible for administering and providing adult education programs - Basic Skills, English-as-a-Second Language, Adult High School, and Literacy - on Guam. Services to adult learners, in pursuit of their life-long goal, promote successful completion of secondary education and transition from academia to employment or to a post-secondary career and technical program.
