The Guam Community College in partnership with the Cabras Marine Corporation has completed the first Ship Repair Transportation Boot Camp. A total of 21 participants successfully completed all coursework and training requirements and will receive their Certificate of Completion at the GCC campus on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at GCC’s Multipurpose Auditorium (MPA), Bldg. 400.
All 21 successful participants have been hired by Cabras Marine Corporation as apprentices and will continue their training with GCC to complete their US Department of Labor Journeyman certification.
Governor Lou A. Leon Guerrero, GCC President Mary Okada, Cabras Marine Corporation President Mr. Joseph L. Cruz will make the presentation of certificates. Please see the attached agenda.
