GCC Offering In-Person Help for Student Financial Aid Applications
Do you want to go to college, but can’t afford it?  Has COVID affected your ability to start or continue your college education? Guam Community College has good news for you! College financial aid has never been so accessible. Guam Community College will be hosting a series of events to help you navigate the student financial aid process.
For general information on financial aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, join the GCC Facebook Live Session on July 22, starting at 10:00 a.m. The GCC Financial Aid office will explain the financial aid application process. During the Live stream, you will learn:

·What financial aid is available to you,
·How to access these financial resources for college, and
·A step-by-step guide on how to get started with your financial aid application.

To get individualized help applying for student financial aid, attend our FAFSA Application Hands-On Workshop and COVID Related Federal Student Aid Assistance, which will be held on the GCC Mangilao campus, at the Student Center (Bldg 5000), Room 5204. There will be two sessions:
Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am 
Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm 
Participants will receive:
·One-to-one help with your FAFSA application, and
·Information regarding changes to the verification process. 
Due to space limitations, a sign-up sheet for the workshops will be available next week.

If your household income has been affected by COVID, you are encouraged to attend. There are Federal Student Aid options available to you.
