CTE Programs

Excel in your career while in high school through GCC Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs

How does it work? 

• Enroll in these CTE programs from sophomore through senior year, 

• Earn a grade of “B” or better in their CTE courses all three years, and 

• Successfully participate in the 180-hour work experience component of the program,

High School Students will earn a Certificate of Mastery upon graduating from high school. Through GCC’s Dual Credit Articulated Programs of Study (DCAPS), you can earn from six to 19 credits (depending on the program) and will carry over to a GCC Postsecondary Program if declared as your major upon enrollment at GCC after graduating from high school. 

 

Pathways from CTE Secondary (High School) Programs to GCC Postsecondary (College) Certificate or Associate Degree Programs

*Programs are available in specific Guam Department of Education (GDOE) High Schools: George Washington High School (GWHS), John F. Kennedy High School (JFKHS), Okkodo High School (OHS), Southern High School (SHS), Simon Sanchez High School (SSHS), Tiyan High School (THS).
