NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT

For the Program Year 2021
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Title II Adult Education & Family Literacy Act


In response to the COVID-19, the State Agency for Adult Education and Family Literacy (Guam Community College) is postponing the announcement of the WIOA, Title II funds for Fiscal Year 2021and extending current eligible provider’s grant and contract for a year to prevent disruptions and gaps in services. The Notice of Funding Availability will be announced to eligible providers in 2022.   An eligible provider [§203(5)] is a local educational agency; a community-based organization or faith-based organization; a volunteer literacy organization; an institution of higher education; a public or private nonprofit agency; a library; a public housing authority; a nonprofit institution that has the ability to provide adult education and literacy activities to eligible individuals; a consortium or coalition of the agencies, organizations, institutions, libraries, or authorities; and a partnership between an employer or an entity having demonstrated effectiveness in providing adult education and literacy activities.
