NEW BOOKS, 2018
eBook Community College Collection (EBSCOhost)
EBSCO’s Community College ebook database is now available. Focused on career and technical education for community colleges, this multidisciplinary collection contains nearly 52,200 titles, including thousands of Workforce Development titles and fields of study in key subject areas such as the Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Science & Technology, and Literary Criticism.
Some of the disciplines it supports include Allied Health, Nursing, VisCom, HVAC, Supervision and Management, Hospitality, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood, Disaster Management, Business, Marketing, Construction and more.
It can be accessed through the GCC Library webpage.

This App enables easy discovery and simple download capabilities from GCC Library
collection to any mobile device, and a best-in-class reading experience.
The EBSCO eBooks app is available for:

- Android devices from Google Play
EBSCOhost APP
EBSCO offers an app for accessing EBSCOhost from your iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad) and Android devices. The EBSCOhost app is available for download from the iTunes app store as well as Google Play. After downloading the EBSCOhost app, it must be authenticated from within an EBSCOhostprofile on the GCC Library Website.
To authenticate the EBSCOhost app:
Click the EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications link at the bottom of the EBSCOhost page and enter your email address.
An email with an authentication key will be sent to you.
Access the email from your device and click the link found in the email to authenticate the application.
