The Supervision and Management program prepares students for entry-level positions and employment in the field of supervision and management. The program is designed for students who want to learn, update and augment existing knowledge and skills and/or acquire cutting-edge technical and managerial skills; it is also designed for current and future leaders, supervisors, and managers who desire that their entry level employees have the latest skills to be effective and productive in their respective fields.
Program Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs):
Upon successful completion of the AS in Supervision & Management program, students will be able to:
- Apply supervisory techniques to manage people and projects.
- Explain planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling functions of an organization.
- Discuss ethical behavior required in businesses.
A “cooperative 2 + 2” degree program is established between the GCC Associate of Science in Supervision & Management (AS&M) degree and the UOG Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The “cooperative 2 + 2” degree program will consist of students earning their Associate of Science in Supervision & Management degree in the first 2 years and then earning their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the second 2 years.
