GCC BOARD OF TRUSTEES SWEARS-IN NEWEST MEMBER
The Guam Community College Board of Trustees has a new Board Member. Ms. Rose Grino, Administrator of Healthcare Delivery at FHP Health Center, was sworn in on Friday, May 7, 2021.
Ms. Grino has been a Registered Nurse on Guam since 1997 and has held several leadership positions in healthcare throughout her 24-year career. Her extensive experience includes work at the Guam Memorial, Guam Regional Medical Center, FHP and American Medical Center.
Ms. Grino has also been an active member of our community, previously serving as the President of the Guam Nurses Association, Treasurer of the GMH Board of Trustees and as Chairperson Guam Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition.
Rose Grino’s experience and expertise in healthcare on Guam will add valuable insights into GCC’s plans to continually expand its role in training our residents in healthcare fields that are in high demand for Guam and our region.
In addition to Rose Grino, the GCC Board of Trustees also swore in the newest Student Trustee, Paris Jean Blas. Ms. Blas is pursuing her Associates of Science in Criminal Justice. She also served as President of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) GCC Student Chapter.
