This course focuses on the skills and academic competencies necessary for safe, professional, as well as effective practice of basic masonry in entry-level masonry-related occupations. Safety, proper use, care and maintenance of masonry tools and equipment will be emphasized. Mastery of selected construction-related competencies will be demonstrated through the completion of projects. Students will be oriented to the process of securing entry-level masonry positions.
