Federation of Pangasinanses of Guam – Deadline to submit: February 19, 2010
Spero-Perez Memorial Scholarship – Deadline to submit: February 26, 2010
First Hawaiian Bank/Guam Business Businesswoman of the Year Scholarship - Deadline to submit: July 31, 2010

GCC Education major awarded Businesswoman of the Year Scholarship
Education major Chelsea Ulloa was awarded a $2,200 scholarship for Spring Semester 2010 by the First Hawaiian Bank Guam Business Businesswoman of the Year Scholarship Program. Applications for the Fall Semester 2010 Businesswoman of the Year Scholarships are now available. The awards are open to full- and part-time students and are based on merit, eligibility, a written essay and financial need. CCESS Tutoring now available
Center for Civic Engagement & Student Success (CCE&SS) one-on-one tutoring is offered at the GCC Library every weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Specialized Math peer tutoring is offered by CCE&SS at the Math Department in Building 200, Room 204.

GCC to offer on-line Radon Certification class
GCC is now offering on-line Radon National Measurement and Mitigation Certification courses, including a Guam-specific section. The cost for the Radon Measurement course is $345. The cost of both courses – Radon Measurement and Radon Mitigation - is a total of $750. The class will be offered on-line through CERTI, the Center for Environmental Research and Technology, with a two-day, hands-on component taught on the Mangilao campus. GCC GW ProStart Team Stars on the Food Network
GCC's George Washington High School ProStart Team, which placed 4th in the National ProStart Competition in San Diego in April 2009, was featured prominently on Guy Fieri's "Top of the Class" Food Network Special in December. "Top of the Class" covered the entire competition, and highlighted the Guam team (Captain Ria Aquinde, and team members Rendel Carolino, Christine Cruz, and Brandon Sapp) several times throughout the program.
