     The Student Support Services (SSS) program provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and offers services to motivate students towards the successful completion of their postsecondary education.  The SSS program may also provide grant aid to current SSS participants who are receiving Federal Pell Grants.  The goal of SSS is to increase the college retention and graduate rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next.

Project AIM Mission & Goals

The Program’s mission and goals involve the following measurable objectives:

 

  • To successfully retain and matriculate students into higher education.

  • To enable at-risk students to successfully complete their academic studies.

  • To mainstream at-risk students effectively and in a timely manner into the general education / transfer curricula.

  • To increase the number of at-risk students who graduate with AA / AS Degrees or earn a certificate.

  • To increase the number of at-risk students transferring into four-year colleges and universities.

Project AIM is a federally funded program by the U.S. Department of Education, TRIO Program.  It provides a wealth of services that can help you succeed towards earning your degree or certificate in your chosen field.  The following is a list of services Project AIM provides to its students:
