On Wednesday, April 26th, as part of their Asian Pacific Cuisine course, GCC Culinary Arts students are offering a sumptuous Melanesian Lunch Buffet as their final buffet of the month of April. These outstanding chefs-in-training have been serving buffet lunches on Wednesdays in the GCC Multipurpose Auditorium throughout the month. Lunch buffets are from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (dine-in only) and from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (take-out only). The price is $10 per person (cash only, please!). No reservations - seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The buffets are prepared and served by students in the Culinary Arts 240 Asian Pacific Cuisine class taught by Culinary Arts instructor Chef Paul Kerner.
The final buffet will take place on May 3rd during the annual May Harvest at the Guam Department of Agriculture. This event is FREE and open to the public. The Culinary Arts students will once again prepare and serve food at the May Harvest in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture, showcasing food items grown or produced locally.
