Transportation Department
The GCC Transportation Department offers:
- AS Automotive Service Technology
- CERT Automotive Service Technology
- CERT Medium/Heavy Truck Diesel Technology
Our programs are designed to provide students with both a comprehensive general education and advanced technical training in working with all automotive systems, and to prepare them to pass industry specific and national certifications in the automotive industry. We are considered the premier instruction center of automotive repair on the island.
The GCC Advantage
The GCC Transportation Department prepares its graduates to pass the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) Certification Examination in all eight examination areas offered. Once they pass this exam, they can pursue recognition from ASE as a Master Service Technician.

This ensures that a strong foundation is built, so the ever changing world of technology is easily adaptable and absorbed.
