GCC in partnership with the Cabras Marine Corporation has completed the first Ship Repair Transportation Boot Camp. A total of 21 participants successfully completed all coursework and training requirements and received their Certificate of Completion. All 21 have been hired by Cabras Marine Corporation as apprentices and will continue their training with GCC to complete their US Department of Labor Journeyman certification.

Free OSHA Training for exiting military personnel, dependents, and veterans, will be offered June 17-21, 2019 at GCC, MPA. Five slots will be reserved for GCC faculty or staff interested in signing up.
